Data Migration Manager (Benelux)

In this role you drive the data foundation for a global SAP S/4HANA transformation at GEA. You own local migration activities from preparation to execution, starting in the Netherlands and expanding to other sites. You partner with business and IT to solve data challenges, improve data quality, and support go-live readiness in an international context. You will influence data governance and leverage modern data platforms to deliver measurable impact. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear opportunity to shape the success of a high-profile ERP program.

• Lead local data migration activities from preparation through execution for SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Extract, analyse and profile data from legacy systems
• Identify data quality issues and drive cleansing and remediation activities
• Define and validate data mappings, transformation rules and business rules
• Execute mock loads, migration testing and reconciliation activities
• Support cutover and hypercare phases during go-live
• Develop insights and reporting related to migration progress and data quality
• Act as a trusted advisor to Data Owners, Data Stewards, Key Users and IT teams
• Investigate root causes of data issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with international migration teams across multiple locations

• 5+ years of experience in data migration, master data management or large-scale data transformation projects
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data profiling and ETL/data transformation tools
• Experience with SAP master and transactional data
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration approaches and migration tooling is highly desirable
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python is a plus
• Interest in modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
