Lead Mechanical Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres)

In this Lead Mechanical Engineer role, you drive complex mechanical design and installation work for high-demand data centre projects within a global, cross-border MCF team. You will deliver integrated designs in 3D, manage live-site assessments and commissioning, and coordinate with vendors and clients to ensure safe, reliable mission-critical facilities. You’ll shape technical standards, support project costs and risk reviews, and share knowledge to bolster internal processes. • Manage and deliver mechanical work packages across multiple projects
• Define scope and objectives, produce project documents for contractors, vendors, and authorities
• Write technical specifications and reports
• Assist project manager with cost reviews and risk assessments
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and supplier pre-qualifications
• Participate in tender evaluation, write tender specs, and support factory acceptance tests and site commissioning
• Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to cross-border team work and knowledge sharing to improve internal processes

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and/or installation
• Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry
• Understanding of clients’ daily operational needs
