Cybersecurity Engineer - Cloud

In this role you help strengthen Visa’s security posture, focusing on cybersecurity integration for mergers and acquisitions. You will work with the Security Team to analyze threats, enforce policies, and secure cloud and on-prem environments while translating technical risk into business context. You’ll collaborate with IT and business units to embed security into technology and operations, and you’ll build automation for vulnerability management and reporting. This position offers impact at scale within a global payments leader and hybrid work setup.

• Conduct threat and risk analysis and contribute to mitigation strategies
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Improve security posture of cloud and on-prem environments
• Translate security requirements into business requirements and communicate risks to leadership and engineers
• Collaborate with IT and other business units to embed security across technology and operations
• Develop infrastructure and platform to automate vulnerability management and security reporting

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure, GCP) OR 5+ years in cloud security
• Programming experience (Python)
• Experience deploying secure infrastructure in cloud environments
• Strong understanding of network, application, and system security
• AWS Security Specialty certification
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience securing Kubernetes services
• Extensive knowledge of OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25
