Senior Accountant

In this role, you maintain ledgers for multiple European entities, ensure timely close and accurate reporting, and support VAT/Intrastat filings and audits. You work within a collaborative Finance team at Applied Medical’s European HQ to improve processes and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations. You’ll analyze cost accounting and manufacturing data, and contribute to audits while helping drive efficiency and reporting quality. This is a hands-on opportunity to impact financial accuracy and cross-country operations in a fast-growing international company.

• Review and analyze general ledger accounts and transactions, including production-related costs
• Prepare, coordinate and review monthly and quarterly reconciliations
• Prepare, check and post journal entries for monthly close
• Support Manufacturing with variance analysis, cost prices, and absorption
• Manage fixed assets
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and systems
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company quality standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience with SAP (preferred)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Knowledge of other European languages (preferred)
• International work experience (preferred)
