Consulting Director

In this role you own strategic client portfolios and drive high-impact data and AI transformations at scale. You lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, value-driven outcomes for senior client stakeholders. You shape how engagements are staffed, financed, and executed while fostering thought leadership and growth across Artefact’s international portfolio. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate data-driven value and strengthen Artefact's market position.

• Own and lead a portfolio of strategic accounts, aligning consulting, tech, and AI talent to deliver transformative results
• Oversee multiple workstreams and managers, ensuring delivery excellence and budget/capacity planning
• Serve as senior advisor to C-level stakeholders, shaping strategic discussions and pursuing new business opportunities
• Take ownership of business development, originate opportunities, shape proposals, and drive growth initiatives
• Mentor Consulting Managers and senior consultants to develop leaders and talent
• Define and propagate areas of expertise across the practice and represent Artefact externally

• 8+ years in data and AI with at least 5+ years in consulting
• Curiosity for tech, data, and AI with willingness to learn and dive deep where needed
• Ability to link technical possibilities to business value at a strategic level
• Engineering mindset and comfort collaborating with engineers/technologists
• Analytical mindset with knowledge of data governance, MLOps, GenAI, cloud strategy, and FinOps
• Ownership mentality and entrepreneurial drive with proactive, accountable work style
• People development and leadership experience
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus
• Hands-on, client-facing attitude with problem-solving skills
