Digital Accessibility Expert

As Digital Accessibility Expert, you drive European Accessibility Act compliance across all web and mobile properties, shaping inclusive, compliant product outcomes. You will lead WCAG audits, design training for cross-functional teams, and establish governance to ensure releases meet accessibility benchmarks. You will collaborate with engineering and design to embed reusable accessible components and engage with regulators and vendors. • Anchor the EAA compliance strategy across web and mobile properties
• Perform expert WCAG audits and sign-off on accessibility
• Design and deliver accessibility training and build a champions network
• Set up and oversee digital governance including gates, exception workflows and SLAs
• Review and update the EAA policy
• Assist Procurement in contracting external vendors for accessible products
• Manage regulator communications and mandatory accessibility statements
• Set up KPIs and executive dashboards to track accessibility maturity
• Collaborate with engineering and design to identify barriers early and embed accessible components in the central library

• 5+ years hands-on experience in digital accessibility and compliance in a complex digital product environment
• Mastery of EN 301 549 and WCAG, with understanding of Design for All (European Design for All/ISO 30071-1)
• Strong understanding of EU digital legal aspects and EAA operational requirements
• Excellent English communication and ability to influence stakeholders without authority
• Coaching and training ability to foster inclusive design from concept to launch
• Systems thinker capable of scaling inclusive practices into reusable code
• Strong problem-solving skills with rigorous auditing and practical fixes with engineering and design
