Description As a machine operator, you will work with modern production equipment to manufacture high-quality construction materials such as concrete and stone products. You will operate production installations, transport raw materials, monitor the production process, and help keep the machines running efficiently. As a machine operator, you will: Operating various production machines Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions Changing over and setting up machines Managing the warehouse where the raw materials are stored Driving a forklift to bring in and move out materials You work independently and take responsibility for your work. You work Monday to Friday, from 07:15 to 16:15 (day shift). The goal is to eventually offer you a permanent contract with the company. About the client You will work for a production company that specializes in highly specific types of concrete, which has made it a global player in its field. The company processes raw materials used to make cement and concrete, using modern techniques to get the mix proportions exactly right. As a machine operator, you play a key role in this production process. Requirements To succeed as a machine operator, you bring: At least 2 years of proven work experience as a machine operator You live in or near Geldermalsen Proven experience driving a forklift You speak English You are in good physical health Our offer As a machine operator, you can count on: ~ A salary between €2,856 and €3,399 gross per month, depending on experience, ~25 holiday days plus 13 ADV days (reduced working hours days) ~ Travel allowance in line with the Metal and Technology collective labor agreement ~ Weekly salary payment ~ Opportunities for growth, for example, to supervisor ~ Work clothing and work shoes ~ Christmas drinks with a Christmas package
