Head of Operations

G2 Recruitment is currently representing a growing construction company known for delivering high-quality international infrastructure, based in the Rotterdam region, South Holland.

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven candidate to oversee and streamline the client's internal business operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of departments, optimizing workflows, improving internal systems, and supporting site teams with efficient administrative and logistical processes.

You will act as a central hub between departments such as Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, HR, and Health & Safety to ensure alignment, accountability, and efficiency.

Head of Internal Operations – Construction Projects

SALARY: €85,000 - €115,000 + package

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: Rotterdam region, Netherlands

Essential:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the construction or related industries.
• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and site operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Buildertrend, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

• Experience working with ISO standards and quality systems.
• Knowledge of construction health & safety regulations.
• Familiarity with cost tracking, budgets, and job costing software.
• Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
