Director of Quality

An established multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking an accomplished Head of Quality / Quality Director to lead its Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Microbiology functions across multiple manufacturing sites in the MENA region. Reporting directly to the CEO, this strategic role will shape the overall quality vision, ensuring full regulatory compliance and operational excellence across all operations.

Key Focus Areas

• Define and implement a robust quality strategy in line with cGMP, FDA, EMA, WHO, and SFDA standards
• Lead and develop QA, QC, and Microbiology teams, ensuring efficient QMS performance and reliable batch release
• Oversee regulatory audits, inspections, and CAPA processes, ensuring global readiness and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and risk‑based quality management
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations to embed quality across all stages of manufacturing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (required); Master’s or certification in Quality Management preferred
• 20+ years of pharmaceutical QA/QC experience, including 10+ years in senior leadership
• Strong understanding of international QMS and regulatory compliance within branded generics or global pharma
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑site teams and deliver quality excellence under regulatory scrutiny
• Flexibility of up to 40% travel
