Senior Physical Design Engineer / Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer to lead and execute full-cycle physical IC/ASIC design projects. You will be responsible for delivering fully verified physical designs that meet all technical requirements, working closely with a team of skilled physical designers across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead and execute the physical design phase from start to tape-out, including floorplanning, placement, top-level routing, verification, and design finishing. You will manage project planning, requirements, documentation, reviews, and quality control. In addition, you will lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of physical designers. Participation in process improvement, technology documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives is expected. You will also collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across international locations.

Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field and at least 8 years of experience in IC/ASIC physical design. Strong hands‑on experience with Cadence Virtuoso is required. Knowledge of high‑frequency/mmWave design is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. Candidates should be flexible, proactive, and results‑driven.
