What you’ll be doing as a Software Test Engineer:

• Defining testing scope, objectives, resources, and schedule for testing activities.
• Developing comprehensive test plans and test strategies for software projects.
• Creating, executing and maintaining test cases (both manual and automated).
• Collaborating with Test Architect to lead and coordinate testing activities within the team.
• Being an active part of the scrum team, guiding and supporting the team on all quality aspects to achieve team goals.
• Reviewing requirements, acceptance criteria, and test specifications.
• Participating in risk assessment activities.
• Participating in defect root cause analysis.

What you need to be successful as a Software Test Engineer:

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related technical software field.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality and test of technical software for high-tech equipment.
• Certification: ISTQB Foundation Level/ISTQB Test Analyst/ISTQB Technical Test Analyst (one or more).
• Experience with WebUI testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
• Experience with API testing.
• Python programming language (C# is a plus).
• Model-based testing knowledge is an advantage.
