We are looking for an empathetic and connecting leader with strong communication skills and coaching ability for our office in Wageningen. As Business Team Director, you will have four areas of focus:

• Finances – result-oriented and sharp on revenue, margin, and standardization;
• HR – people-oriented leadership, room for personal growth and talent development;

• Commerce – feeling for the market and able to signal and utilize commercial opportunities.

You will search for the right balance between these areas of focus with your team. You are able to take responsibility and form a clear vision for the Wageningen office. This vision you can translate into a supported strategy in an inspiring way. You involve the team, listen actively, and work from trust and bottom-up involvement.

The focus is on maintaining a service-oriented and proactive team, where there is room for diversity, growth, and utilization of individual talents. You make decisions, set frameworks, and ensure a culture of openness, honesty, and clear communication. "A deal is a deal" is an important starting point.

Besides your management tasks, it is possible to combine this with a role such as Registered Accountant, Entrepreneurial Advisor, or Tax Consultant . You will work substantively with the team and be responsible for your own client portfolio. This combination ensures involvement, professional sharpness, and feeling for daily practice.

In short, some of your tasks will be:

• Developing and monitoring multi-year plans, budgets, and commercial goals;
• Translating trends and opportunities in the market into concrete actions;
• Steering on performance: productivity, quality, invoicing, and result;
• Collaborating with fellow Business Team Directors on national improvement projects, standardization, and growth.
