For our Engineering and Technology department, located in Dordrecht, we are looking for a

(Sr) Automation & Process Control Engineer (M, V, X)

What will you do?

• Create the long-term vision, maintain, update and implement the Asset Renewal Plan, in line with the goals of the site and global Chemours standards;
• Monitor critical performance indicators (KPIs) in the field of reliability and availability of installations and systems, and report to management;
• Manage service contracts and coordinate with suppliers and other Chemours sites (including in the US);
• Identify, analyze and solve process control issues and initiate improvements;
• Lead (large) projects in the field of Automation & Process Control
• Perform configuration and software changes to DCS/SIS/PLC systems;
• Act as a link between operations, engineering and external partners.

What do you bring?

• >10 years of relevant work experience as an automation & process control engineer or similar;
• Completed HBO or WO education in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Chemical Engineering or similar;
• Experience with A&PC systems (DCS, SIS, PLC), instrumentation, safety systems and relevant programming languages;
• Experience with preferred DCS systems; ABB, and/or Siemens (Honeywell)
• Knowledge of cyber security standard (ISA/IEC62443) and OT networks;
• Knowledge of ISA-88 Batch Control and ISA95 Enterprise-Control System Integration;
• Experience with leadership or coordination within technical teams is a plus. If this competence is present, there is an option to grow into a functional leader in the long term;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Experience with international cooperation is a plus;
• Proactive, result-oriented and coaching attitude;
• Flexibility to support outside office hours in case of disruptions or urgent issues.
