COMCAM is in an exciting scale-up phase. Having built a strong foundation in Energy Portfolio Management, the company is now expanding into strategic consulting and advisory services. This new business line will translate COMCAM’s proven energy knowledge into structured, paid advisory work that adds measurable value to clients.
The ambition is clear: to build a premium consultancy practice that complements COMCAM’s analytical and trading expertise, delivering advisory services around energy risk, flexibility, grid congestion, and sustainability. The organization is ready to move from pure operational excellence to strategic influence — and this role will be pivotal in making that happen.
The Lead Consultant will be the architect and driving force behind COMCAM’s new consultancy unit. Working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, this person will design, launch, and lead the consulting practice from the ground up.
This role combines strategic vision and hands‑on execution: developing the consulting proposition and pricing, building a team, engaging with key clients but also with new leads. Hereby ensuring that COMCAM’s deep energy expertise translates into tangible business outcomes. It is a unique opportunity to build something new within a company that already has credibility, market access, and momentum.
The ideal candidate is someone who has an understanding of the energy market and has experience in developing or advising on Closed Distribution Systems (CDS) or private grid infrastructure. He or she has sound, up to date knowledge of energy regulations, brings both consulting and commercial acumen — someone who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment, thrives on creating structure, and is motivated by the opportunity to shape the future of energy advisory in Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and growing COMCAM’s consulting practice — balancing strategic development with operational delivery.

Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to establish a consulting practice that is both commercially successful and strategically influential.
You bring a strong combination of consulting experience and energy market and regulatory knowledge. You have previously built or scaled consulting teams, ideally in a start‑up or scale‑up context, and understand how to create value in both structured and entrepreneurial environments.
A background in the energy sector, sustainability, or adjacent industries such as mobility, real estate or manufacturing will help you quickly connect with COMCAM’s clients. Experience with engagement models (retainer, T&M, fixed fee, value‑based) and a strong commercial mindset are essential.
You are fluent in English and Dutch, and proficiency in German will be considered a strong advantage given the company’s international growth plans.
