Japanese Speaking Regulatory and Quality Officer

We are looking for a Japanese-speaking Regulatory and Quality Officer to support our sales team in the UK and EU, maintain compliance, and provide administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the sales team and sales manager, communicating with sales representatives in the UK and EU via email and telephone.
• Assist the director with regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance tasks to maintain local compliance.
• Support general office administration, manage and arrange shipments with the Japanese delivery team.
• Develop client relationships, attend appointments, interviews, store visits, and business events as required.
• Provide full administrative support to the Managing Director and team members in all aspects of the team’s functions.
• Handle telephone, email and post enquiries, liaising with relevant staff members.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager or senior management.

Qualifications

• University degree level or equivalent.
• Understanding of Japanese business customs and ability to act on the company’s philosophy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
• Excellent communication across the organization, including headquarters.
• Ability to manage scheduled sales activities.
• Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to support the brand, handle walk‑in sales flexibly and positively.
• Understanding of and support for regulatory, quality, and pharmacovigilance requirements in the UK and EU.
