As the head of corporate communication and PR, you will be the director of our story, ensuring that the mission “people, markets and ideas connect” is heard and felt both internally and externally. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of communication and marketing professionals, working closely with the board and management team to translate strategy into impactful communication, from corporate storytelling and brand campaigns to media relations and crisis communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor the communication and brand strategy of Jaarbeurs, including voice, reputation management, and brand positioning.
- Act as the face of Jaarbeurs to stakeholders.
- Lead a team of five experts across PR, content, brand, and communication.
- Be responsible for the annual report, internal communication, and crisis communication.
- Create campaigns for our venue and ensure communication always adds to impact and experience.
- Oversee visibility and brand identity during key moments, such as the 111‑year celebration in 2027.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of experience in a strategic, senior communication or PR role.
- University (HBO/WO) level education.
- Visionary, persuasive, with strong drive and determination.
- Leadership with focus on talent, collaboration and creativity.
- Energetic about positioning Jaarbeurs further on the map.
Benefits
- Gross monthly salary between €6,199 and €7,084 for 40 hours per week, depending on experience.
