Job Description

• Develop and safeguard the company-wide Cyber Security Strategy.
• Provide functional leadership to the information security organization across all business entities.
• Implement global security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Bring clarity and cohesion to security initiatives across a complex, multi‑entity structure.
• Lead enterprise‑wide security programs, audits, and awareness initiatives.
• Advise executive leadership, regulators, and governing bodies on risk acceptance and compliance.
• Represent the organization in international governance structures and public‑private partnerships.

You will report to the CIO as well as the Security Board, lead a team of Information Security Managers, and collaborate closely with an international network of security professionals.

The Successful Applicant

• Academic working and thinking level (IT, Information Security, or related field).
• At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, including several years in a CISO or senior ISO role.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM and/or CISSP are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of governance and compliance frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, PG05).
• Experience working in complex, decentralized organizations.
• Proven leadership and change‑management experience.
• Familiarity with application development; experience with IoT is a plus.
• Excellent command of English and Dutch (German is a plus).
