Data governance engineer

Your role in our team
As a Data Governance/Collibra engineer, you'll ensure vital data governance workflows and platform adoption, preventing major operational inefficiencies and compliance risks. Your key responsibilities include:
Translating user needs into intuitive workflows and dashboards for diverse business personas
Developing and delivering onsite training and coaching tailored to users' roles
Promoting adoption through structured change management and communication campaigns
Aligning user experience solutions with backend data processes
Continuously gathering feedback to improve Collibra and support user engagement What we offer

Who we're looking for
We're seeking a talented individual with:
University degree (Bachelor's / Master's) in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics)
3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role
Strong understanding and experience in developing and operating Collibra from a user and business perspective
Experience in training, coaching, and change management
Ability to translate business requirements into functional Collibra configurations
Experience with persona-based design or UX principles
Familiarity with metadata, data lineage, and data catalog concepts
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Agile mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams
Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus) About Schiphol Group
