Avantor is seeking a Team Lead (f/m/d) to head our Administrative & Logistics Services Team, reporting directly to the Manager of Equipment & Instrumentation Services (E&I). In this role, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence, process optimization, and team development, helping us scale and succeed.
This full-time role is based in Boxmeer, Netherlands. We offer a one-year contract that can be extended into a permanent one upon successful completion. You need to speak Dutch & English fluently to be considered for the position.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, regular business hours with five office days per week.

How you will thrive and create an impact
- Coach and empower a talented team of warehouse/logistics specialists & administrative service coordinators to achieve operational targets and increase customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for smarter workflows and implement improvements that boost efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure seamless coordination between the logistics, service coordination, and other departments (service technicians, quality) to keep everything running smoothly.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify root causes for misalignment & take action to keep us on track for success.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and drive initiatives that support growth and scalability.
What we are looking for
- HBO-level education or completed Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, supply chain, finance, etc.)
- Proven leadership experience in logistics, administration, retail, operations, or related environments
- A sharp, process-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance operational needs with business objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Business fluent Dutch proficiency is a must
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data-driven decision-making is a plus
