Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Engineer is responsible for designing and developing solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby supporting project objectives and contributing to the long-term success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Select appropriate methods and procedures, perform engineering work, and optimize designs in line with specifications, international codes, industry standards, and regulations;
• Proactively plan, manage, and deliver activities and outputs within agreed schedules and budgets, while ensuring system interfaces are properly addressed;
• Deliver work in compliance with both contractual obligations and internal requirements;
• Apply relevant lessons learned and assess the impact of changes within and across project boundaries;
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties in accordance with contractual and internal requirements;
• Take on responsibility as a Package Engineer, covering the design, procurement, and manufacturing aspects of assigned packages;
• Lead engineers within the assigned scope of work and provide technical guidance;
• Act as a Discipline Lead for a defined scope of work when required.

Education

Bachelor of Science / Master of Science (BSc/MSc), Electrical Engineering

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
• Proficiency in engineering design and calculation tools;
• Concept development and detailed design expertise;
• Systems engineering knowledge;
• Package engineering and manufacturing experience;
• Focus on reliability, operability, and safety;
• Site engineering capability;
• Strong background in electrical engineering and analysis;
• Effective planning and organisational skills.
