Job Description The Sales Manager Distributors is responsible for sustainable profitable growth in Europe in Indirect Route-to-Market (Distributors), operating mostly in geographies in which we do not have a direct Route-to-Market. The Sales Manager Distributors Pro-actively Manages, Energizes And Engages Existing And New Local Distributors To Grow The Dole Brand In Their Markets, Increase Qualitative And Quantitative Distribution Of Existing And New Products, And Contracting New Distributors And Unlocks New Geographies, While Improving The Gross Profit Margin, Leading To a Significant Increase In Revenues And Enduring Stakeholder Happiness.Primary Accountabilities
You are responsible for market growth and growing turnover and revenues in Europe for all distributor accounts (existing and new) for Retail, ultimately contributing to double digit growth of the regional revenues and significantly improving the gross profit margin year on year whilst building our Dole brand in Europe.
Co-establish and drive the execution of a pan-European strategy for sustainable growth in our distributor-led markets, and support development of country & account plans for sustainable growth, based on in-depth analyses and learnings.
Support and manage execution of country & account plans, including promotions by actively managing and engaging the network of distributors.
Support and manage execution of innovations in the markets.
Responsible for forecasting, sales tracking and sales execution, and regional profitability in the distributor channel.
Strong leadership and improved professional distributor management to effectively manage, energize and engage our distributors and their teams across multiple geographies in Europe to drive growth of our brand, volumes, revenues and gross margin mass.
Identify market opportunities (for present assortment, innovations, new channels and new categories) using internal and external data sources and market research.
Cultivate and orchestrate relationships (directly/indirectly) with all people in the Decision Making Unit of our distributors and, if applicable, their customers.
Partner (directly/indirectly) with relevant resources to identify and implement new opportunities within major and new accounts.
Partner (directly/indirectly) with relevant resources to identify (latent) consumer needs, and pro-actively collaborate with Innovation and Product Development to meet these needs.
Collaborate with finance, marketing, supply chain and customer services teams to ensure effective, efficient and profitable delivery of new and existing products.
Support, lead or manage any applicable customer / sales projects in these countries.
Support and manage any future transfer of geographies from the distributor-led RTM to a direct RTM, if and when applicable, and advise on any potential future transfers.

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring
Fluent in English.
Demonstrable P&L experience in branded FMCG sales - preferably in food - through a network of local distributors, and solid Revenue Management experience
Proven track record in consistently delivering revenue and Gross Margin Mass growth and in managing distributors across multiple countries in Europe
Proven experience in identifying consumer needs and transform these into new product opportunities
Strategic and analytical thinking, and financial acumen, paired with a strong commercial mindset and a people development mindset
Integrity and accountability, relationship building skills, and strong influencing skills
Experience in working with the retailers in multiple geographies in Europe is preferred, especially if these include Spain, Scandinavia and/or Eastern Europe.
Strong negotiation skills
