Every day, millions of consumers around the world enjoy meals that include a little bit of Vion. That requires reliable systems and seamless integrations. As an Integration DevOps Designer , you play a key role in this process — designing and managing the integrations that form the foundation of our 24/7 operations.

You’ll work at the intersection of design, development, and operations. Using modern Azure technologies such as Azure Functions , Logic Apps , and Service Bus , you’ll build and maintain integrations that ensure smooth communication between systems and keep Vion running continuously.

You combine strategy with execution: designing integrations based on functional requirements, formalizing them into clear technical designs (using tools such as UML or flowcharts), and guiding developers and colleagues through implementation. You act as a crucial link between technology and the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Design integrations based on input from Business Analysts and Application Managers
• Create technical designs that are clear and actionable for developers
• Guide colleagues through the intake and implementation phases of integrations
• Support in resolving disruptions (on-call once every six weeks)
• Review and monitor integration quality and validate against acceptance criteria
• Proactively improve integration platforms, processes, and documentation

Must-haves

• Higher education level (Bachelor’s or Master’s; diploma preferred but not required)
• Experience with C# and .NET
• Experience with integrations (SOAP/REST, XML, XSLT, Web Services)
• Knowledge of flowcharts , UML , BPMN , or similar tools
• AZ-900 certification (or willingness to obtain it within one month)
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English
• Affinity with the food industry

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
• Certifications such as AZ-104 , AZ-204 , or AZ-400
• Experience in design or architecture roles
