Job Description
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes that directly impact production efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality. Working closely with Operations and Engineering teams, you will enhance the manufacturability of designs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for critical components and shipbuilding projects.
• Optimize existing processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall quality.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure seamless integration from design to manufacturing.
• Identify manufacturing risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to safeguard production.
• Detect inefficiencies or quality deviations and implement improvements using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation of manufacturing standards, processes, and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
• Experience optimizing complex manufacturing processes in shipbuilding, heavy industry, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Ability to identify and mitigate production risks and ensure compliance.
• Relevant technical degree (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering).
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent references (security screening required).
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport (no dual EU/non-EU nationality or visa holders due to project requirements).
