Data Business Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Data Business Analyst with a strong grasp of data modelling, financial reporting, and analytics. In this role, you’ll collaborate across Finance, Risk, and IT to turn complex data challenges into scalable solutions.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary data team at the core of one of the Netherlands’ most respected financial institutions, contributing directly to the evolution of strategic reporting and data foundations.

What you do:

• Act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Gather, structure, and translate requirements into data models and reporting specifications
• Design data structures using DataVault and dimensional modelling
• Guide the development and rollout of enterprise reporting solutions
• Align with data engineers and BI professionals to bring reporting initiatives to life
• Lead or support acceptance testing, data validation, and troubleshooting of reporting pipelines
• Drive improvements in data consistency, quality, and governance across reporting domains
• Facilitate workshops and help stakeholders define and refine business needs

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of practical, hands-on experience working with data warehouse environments and enterprise reporting platforms
• Strong expertise in data modelling , including hands-on experience with DataVault
• Practical experience with SQL , ETL processes, and data integration workflows
• Familiarity with tools such as Informatica , SAP HANA (preferred), or comparable BI/DWH technologies
• Experience within finance, banking, or risk reporting is a strong plus
• Skilled at translating complex business problems into actionable technical designs
• Comfortable working in Agile teams within large, dynamic enterprise environments
