About the Role

Join our team as an IT Analyst (full time role) and play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale networks. You will collaborate with senior management, drive technology adoption, and ensure seamless network operations across LAN, WAN, Data Centre, and wireless environments. If you have strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and network automation, and are passionate about delivering quality solutions in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you!

The position will be an initial 12 month contract with the possibility of being extended further.

Key Responsibilities

Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job responsibilities as outlined.

Ability to deliver quality work on time.

Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and influence decision-making with senior management.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Must demonstrate strong work habits and a solid work ethic, with the ability to quickly learn, retain, and train others on emerging technologies. Should consistently adhere to company policies, working hours, and maintain a high standard of professional conduct.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Computer science.

5-6 years of hands-on experience in core routing and switching technologies from Cisco.

Required Skills:

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.

Experience with routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.

Experience with configuration management, deployment of Cisco Meraki.

Experience with scripting and network automation with tools like Ansible or Python.

Experience with Service Level Agreements, QoS.

Proven experience in planning and implementing networking projects. Experience with LAN, WAN, Data Centre, Wireless, and networks at an enterprise scale.

Experience with defining and documenting processes, workflows and optimization of standards.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Juniper SRX and/or Juniper MIST.

Experience with VMware NSX.

Cisco Certified DevNet DevOps Professional or JNCIA-DevOps certification.

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.

VMware Certified Professional Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) certification.

Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) certification.
