CGS Director
(You live in or close to Amsterdam)
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director to lead our recruitment agency through its next phase of growth and innovation. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, driving business development, ensuring service excellence, and leading teams across multiple verticals within Renewable Energy; Power / Carbon / Biofuels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the recruitment business, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
- Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market presence and revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire recruitment teams and managers to achieve performance targets and maintain high levels of motivation and engagement.
- Drive operational excellence across client delivery, candidate experience, and internal processes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as a senior point of contact for key accounts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Collaborate with sales to position the agency as a leading brand in the recruitment industry.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards within recruitment practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a recruitment agency or talent solutions business.
- Experience in data-driven management (Bullhorn)
- Deep understanding of staffing services: Contracting / Temp-to-perm / Secondment / Retained services / Perm success based
- Experience in either Tech IT / Tech engineering / Renewables
- Demonstrated success in scaling teams, managing P&L, and driving commercial growth.
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, metrics, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
