Here at our Amsterdam office, we aim to be the partner of choice for NatWest Group customers across Europe, and provide for their complex financing needs. In Trading, our teams price and manage risks associated with FX & Interest Rate instruments, analyse market trends, engage in market making, and execute trades in the broker market. As an intern on this team, you’ll work across multiple trading desks with a strong focus on Rates trading. You’ll help with all day-to-day activities and accelerate your understanding of risks, pricing, clients, and market behaviour. Why This Internship?

Entry requirements To be eligible for our NatWest Markets Amsterdam internship, you’ll need:
To be in your penultimate year of university
To be on course to achieving a degree classification of 3.0 or 7
A study agreement with a European university or business school
Showcase a strong ambition for a career in trading, sales, or research; complemented by a keen interest in macroeconomics, central banking, financial instruments, and trading strategies
Good time management skills
A customer-first approach
Available for at least 3 months, starting Feb 1st 2026
