The job

As a Mechanical Designer at Anteryon, you will play a crucial role in the development and realization of high-precision opto-mechanical modules. You will be responsible for defining the means and methods to produce these products, including process design, tooling and equipment.

You ensure that developed products and processes are industrialized with high and stable yields. You design with quality, manufacturability and process control in mind and work closely with other experts in optics and precision engineering to bring innovative concepts into reliable production.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Development and realization of opto-mechanical modules, processes, tooling and equipment.
  • Industrialization of developed products and processes for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Ensure design for quality, manufacturability and process control.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within specifications.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in the assembly of fine-mechanical parts.
  • Strong affinity with precision mechanics, optics and optical applications.
  • Hands-on experience with precision metrology (sub-micron level).
  • Experience with project management and working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Good communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage.
