As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest Financial Client , I am seeking for a Data Engineer for a position in Amsterdam, Netherlands . This role requires strong knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, databases, and technical aspects of BI tools to transform raw data into meaningful insights. As a Data Engineer, you contribute to accomplish the squad's mission. You design your solutions to fulfil business requirements by developing data pipeline and reports in a smart way. Developing your own expertise while gathering, updating, and spreading knowledge about developments and challenges regarding your field and embed lessons learned and best practices.

Roles and responsibilities

• Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting.
• Analyze data in order to present it through actionable reports that will support in decision-making.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
• Using advanced SQL query language to support Dashboard development.
• Using CI/CD pipeline to implement the solution.
• Migrate to Azure and utilize PowerBI in Azure for data analysis and reporting.
• Follow Security & IT Risk journeys
• Supporting other squad members whenever needed with your experience and knowledge
• Communicating with the stakeholders to analyze and understand the need and design the solution accordingly.

Required skills

• Master’s degree or equivalent by experience
• You have at least 6+ years’ experience in IT projects following Agile methodology.
• Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of PowerBI, Power Query, DAX.
• Manage Azure components, including Key Vault, Gen2 Storage, and Azure AD
• Knowledge of programming language as Python or Powershell. Willingness to learn other programming language or tool, is necessary.
• Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.
