What will you do?

As a Project Engineer SGS at Alfen, you are responsible for designing and developing new product and project configurations based on specific customer requirements. You translate technical questions into electrical schematics and solutions for low- and medium-voltage networks, always ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and the use of standardized Alfen products where possible.

Your key responsibilities:

• Translate customer requirements into creative and functional electrical solutions.
• Design, review, and adapt electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Develop functional control concepts into concrete products and production orders (in collaboration with Work Preparation).
• Perform calculations to verify product specifications and component choices.
• Support product and control solution testing in the field.
• Align product specifications with customers and suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
• Provide support in pre-sales, project management, and aftersales activities.
• Actively contribute to product and quality improvements.

What do we ask of you?

You are a technically skilled engineer who enjoys translating customer challenges into practical electrical designs. You are analytical, precise, and enjoy working in a project-driven environment. You bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or similar.
• Qualification as a high-voltage specialist/design engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design and project environments.
• Knowledge of MS Office, CAD, PDM, and ERP systems.
• Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
