IT Risk Manager

We are looking for…

A highly experienced Senior Risk Management Specialist to provide senior-level expertise and oversight for critical risk management and regulatory adherence initiatives.

Outcomes of the project The assignment will be successfully completed when the following outcomes are met, supporting a Sound Risk Management Framework:

1. Timely Resolution of ECB Findings: All findings identified by the European Central Bank (ECB) related to IT Risk Management are followed up on and resolved.
2. Risk Management Enhancement: The risk management framework is enhanced, specifically through the Policy Adherence mapping in critical risk areas.
3. Control Monitoring: Controls are thoroughly tested, and the follow-up on issues by the 1st Line is effectively monitored and managed.

You will:

• Follow up on findings identified by the European Central Bank (ECB) related to IT Risk Management, ensuring alignment with the client's established frameworks and policies.
• Map the client's Policy Adherence in critical risk areas, including Business Continuity Risk, Fraud Risk, Tax Risk, and Data Risk.
• Conduct testing of controls and monitor the follow-up and timely resolution of issues identified by the 1st Line within the clearing bank division.
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into actionable practices, particularly in the context of Regulatory Inspections (OSI).
• Contribute to enhancing the Risk Management Framework and facilitating the seamless integration of critical risk areas.

Who are you?

Experience

• Senior-level expertise (8-10 years) with a strong foundation in Risk Management.
• Deep understanding of the EU regulatory framework within a financial context.
• Proven experience in managing and executing the transition and formalization of a Risk Framework.
• Specialized knowledge in critical risk areas including Business Continuity Risk, Fraud Risk, Tax Risk (including international Corporate Tax), and Data Risk.
• Experience in aligning risk management practices with organizational frameworks and policies.
• Proven ability to test controls and monitor follow-up actions on identified issues.

Profile The ideal candidate has advanced qualifications in Risk Management and a proactive approach to integrating specialized risk knowledge into a Global Risk Management Framework. You are a senior expert capable of operating independently within a highly regulated environment.
