Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with NATO is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to work from The Hague. (NATO clearance required)

Specific Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain adherence to the program Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with the PWS, the QASP, EENG, ISO (namely 9001:2015), the program Quality Management Plan (QMP), and other program plans and processes.
• Develop, update, implement, and maintain the QMP.
• Create, update, and adopt a Tailored Process Baseline (TPB) for the program as applicable.
• Ensure the program successfully obtains its required ISO certifications through adequate preparation, assessment, and training.
• Work as a member of the Mission Assurance team and work with project technicians, engineers, and managers to develop and implement QA surveillance approaches.
• Develop, execute, and review program processes and procedures.
• Develop and establish contractual SLAs.
• Collect and report performance metrics and key performance indicators and proactively help the program meet quality objectives.
• Provide review and input to program plans and other program documents in support of accurate and on-time contract deliverables and work products.
• Ensure product development and services processes meet customer expectations.
• Proactively monitor workflow and process compliance and track corrective actions to closure.
• Review and inspect process outputs and deliverables to ensure compliance to contract requirements.
• Support performance verification testing as needed.
• Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance, define thresholds to assess results, and report results to Leadership.
• Review the results of metrics analysis to determine whether additional process audits are needed.
• Document and work to resolve nonconformities and requirement escapes via root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action.
• Routinely report progress on resolution to management.
• Integrate closely with the program team to implement and execute the quality management system.
• Support other Quality actions and responsibilities across the program as required.
• Monitor and track quality action items and quality issues through resolution.
• Identify and report project quality risks to program management.
• Facilitate contributions to the Risk and Opportunity Register and Peer Review Log.
• Partner with internal and external customer and lead/facilitate lean six sigma process improvement events.
• Collaborate with program leadership to lead efforts that define the optimal performance requirement / service level agreement strategy in support of contract requirements.
• Support program Staff Meetings and Reporting, such as Daily Status Reports.
• Support Leidos reporting, such as Quality Management Reviews, In Process Reviews, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Operational Reviews.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of professional experience managing SLAs and Quality of Service Delivery
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software/system/service life cycle quality management in information technology projects.
• Currently hold a NATO Secret (NS) Security Clearance
• Experience with ISO 9001 and CMMI industry standards
• Experience working with SharePoint and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Good documentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

• Familiarity with NATO IT, quality policies/processes, security policies and requirements
• Experience working in a military environment and Command Center
• Possess industry certifications in Quality Management and/or Service Management, such as ISO 9001:2015, CMMI-SVC, and/or ITIL certifications.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
