Senior Consultant Performance and Restructuring


Job Description & Summary Would you like to be part of an inspiring and stimulating environment? Then, Senior Consultant Performance and Restructuring is the right position for you. The Performance and Restructuring team help under-performing companies find the best way forward for the business and its stakeholders. This Is What You'll Do You advise underperforming Dutch and European companies on performance improvement, restructuring, refinancing, accelerated M&A and insolvency options – finding the best way forward for the business and its stakeholders. From family-run organizations to major listed multinationals, you help underperforming businesses understand and solve their problems. That might mean coming up with strategies to turn the company around, restructure its operations or financing structure or even guiding it through an insolvency process. If you join our team, you will work closely with colleagues from junior to partner level. You always work together in sub teams with team members of different function levels. You will have your own responsibilities, direct client contact and contact with various stakeholders (banks, companies, PE and insolvency trustees).  And, importantly, we love having fun while delivering the solution to our customer. You also interact a lot with PwC colleagues from Tax, Assurance and other (M&A) Deals teams. This ensures our clients always receive the specialist information they need to make the right agreements. Whether the client needs advice or assistance with an operational restructuring or refinancing, we are always there.  You will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the restructuring processes so that you learn a lot and grow in your role on both a professional and personal level.  You recognize yourself in this You want to do relevant work and believe that you can play an important role in helping companies survive. You have strong communication skills and are able to connect and build relationships effectively, especially in circumstances that are difficult for your client. Furthermore:
  • You obtained a financial, economic, business, legal or technical master's degree and have at least two years of relevant work experience;
  • You are a team player with a consultant-mindset;
  • You are interested operational and financial projects and like to help clients in difficult financial situations;
  • You have strong communication skills and are a good listener to spot key issues that the client is dealing with;
  • You have strong analytical skills and are curious;
  • You are able to deal with uncertainty and changing dynamics;
  • You have a strong sense of ownership;
  • You have excellent English language skills (and preferably Dutch).
