Your Next Opportunity Awaits – We are looking for a Warehouse & Fulfillment Supervisor for Maasvlakte Rotterdam
Responsibilities;
- Supervise daily operations in both bonded and non-bonded warehouse areas, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and value-added services.
- Coordinate fulfillment activities including order preparation, labeling, repacking, kitting, and e-commerce logistics.
- Assign tasks to warehouse teams, monitor productivity, and ensure all activities meet service-level expectations and customer requirements.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in planning labor, shifts, equipment usage, and workflow organization.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts, inventory checks, and discrepancy reporting.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound activities are recorded and updated correctly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Oversee safe operation of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks, scanners) and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Communicate operational priorities and updates to customer service teams and other internal departments.
- Assist with onboarding of new customers by preparing SOPs, work instructions, and operational guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, damages, and lead times; report deviations to the Warehouse Manager.
- Conduct regular floor walks to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Resolve day-to-day issues on the warehouse floor and implement corrective actions where required.
- Support training and development of warehouse staff to promote efficiency and teamwork.
Requirements;
- Minimum 3–5 years of operational experience in warehousing, fulfillment, e-commerce logistics, or 3PL environments.
- Experience in supervising small-to-medium warehouse teams (team leaders, operators, pickers, packers).
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes, fulfillment operations, and bonded warehouse regulations (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with WMS systems, scanners, inventory control, and operational KPI tracking.
- Good understanding of Dutch warehouse practices, safety standards, and basic customs procedures.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good computer literacy (MS Office, WMS, digital reporting tools).
- Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory; additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of HSE principles and equipment handling regulations is a plus.
