I'm currently looking for a freelance Senior React Native Developer for a travel company based here in Amsterdam.

The Role

As a Senior React Native Developer , you’ll play a key role in finalizing and optimizing the mobile product. You’ll lead the implementation of new features, ensure robust backend integration, and work closely with our design agency to deliver a world-class user experience.

You’ll collaborate with a small, focused team — bringing both technical expertise and architectural insight to the project.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and optimization of our React Native mobile app (using Expo )
• Collaborate with a design agency to finalize app design and implement pixel-perfect UI/UX
• Work to complete and enhance our Node.js / Strapi backend
• Define and maintain best practices for app architecture, performance, and code quality

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with strong focus on React Native
• Proven experience using Expo for development, testing, and deployment
• Deep understanding of Node.js and Strapi
• Familiarity with Lovable (design/dev collaboration platform) is a plus
• Strong understanding of modern app architecture, API design, and mobile performance optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you’ll be working closely with designers, backend developers, and external partners
• Fluent in English or Dutch
• Based in or able to work from Amsterdam (hybrid setup)
