Equipment Engineer (Electronics / Industrial Automation)

About the Role
As an Equipment Engineer (Electronics / Industrial Automation), you will join multidisciplinary project teams to develop cutting-edge production equipment for advanced high-tech modules. You will work with technologies such as high voltage, high vacuum, nano-ampere measurements, thin-film deposition, precision positioning, high-frequency soldering, (laser) welding, and industrial automation.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—including Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and Operations—as well as external specialist partners supporting the development of new machine concepts. Depending on your experience, you may take on, or grow into, a project leadership position.
Around 25% of your time will be spent supporting production, troubleshooting equipment and process issues. A key part of the role is contributing to a data-driven, connected manufacturing environment (Factory 4.0).
