Position Summary The Marketplace Performance Ads Specialist manages and optimizes paid advertising campaigns across partners such as Zalando, About You, Farfetch, Breuninger, and Amazon. The role focuses on performance-led Sponsored Product, Sponsored Brand, and Display ads to maximize ROI, while working closely with Marketplace, E-commerce, and Merchandising teams to align campaigns with trading priorities, stock levels, and seasonal plans. Key Responsibilities
Performance Ads Management
Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across key marketplaces (Amazon, Zalando, About You, Farfetch, Breuninger)
Own daily ad operations: keywords, targeting, budgets, bids, and campaign structure
Optimize campaigns for ROAS, ACOS, CPC, CTR, conversion, ranking, and visibility
Continuously improve performance via A/B testing, automation, and advanced optimizations
Align campaigns with full-funnel objectives, seasonal priorities, and commercial goals
Stay updated on best practices, new ad formats, and platform developments
Data & Analytics
Build dashboards and reports to track campaign performance against KPIs
Maintain and refine a harmonized ROAS model across marketplaces
Analyze data to deliver actionable insights and improve profitability
Monitor competition, pricing, rankings, keyword trends, and platform updates
Lead weekly performance updates and provide clear channel insights
Forecast ad spend, revenue impact, and expected ROI
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as primary contact for marketplace marketing and ads teams
Align campaigns with stock, promotions, pricing, and product launches alongside Marketplace and Merchandising teams
Coordinate with Product/Stock and Demand Planning to ensure ads match availability and margins
Collaborate with Retail Brand Marketing to integrate ads into full-funnel brand campaigns
Profile
3+ years managing paid ads (PPC/Sponsored Products) on marketplaces or similar platforms (Amazon, Zalando, Google Ads, Retail Media); agency experience a plus
Proven track record optimizing campaigns for ROAS/ACOS and scaling profitable performance marketing
Strong analytical skills with experience handling large data sets and BI/reporting tools
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, or related field
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
