Responsible for all standardized and customized offers, incl. offers over €5M
Full management authority, including performance reviews and people development/ management.
(Contribute to) devise, implement and / or work alongside the best strategy and approach for bids that are submitted, thereby maximizing our chance of winning the business
Analyse the submitted tender request from the (potential) customer and the possibilities and limitations within Viking in the development of a response, in line with available information from other departments.
Locate, collect and analyse necessary data and information required to develop an optimal bid book, in line with the request and listed characteristics from the (potential) customer.
Write clear, bespoke and concise bid / tender responses, by utilizing a wide and customer-focused vocabulary to express the company’s capabilities
Manage all activities necessary to produce the customer offer like a (small) project to secure a quality and professional offer within the set targets incl. timelines
Align and set the assignments for the Account Support team as requested by Sales management;
Analyze, align, and set the way of working in your team to ensure effective and efficient processes;
Participate in regional and EU-broad projects representing the regional Account Support team;
Facilitate the team being able to properly execute their activities by planning and evaluating processes, tools and systems, but also by providing the right instructions, training, and support;
Actively participate in the activities executed by the team members;
Facilitate the development of your team employees and evaluate their contribution and performance in supporting our customers and Sales team;
Required knowledge / skills: Academic level of thinking 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role Able to manage the relationship with multiple (groups of) stakeholders on strategic / tactical level. Strong planning skills with the ability to prioritise. Able to identify issues with process and successfully implement improvements. Capable of networking within and outside of the organisation to achieve optimum results. Desirable: Specific Industry experience Multi linguistic Experience of managing, coaching and developing team members
