Ready to lead the next generation MedTech innovation, behind one of Europe’s most advanced medical robots, while leading a multi-disciplinary team of 10?

My client is a fast-growing MedTech scale-up (~100 people, 60 in engineering) developing the next generation autonomous medical hardware. They’re in the final stage before market launch, with CE approval secured and solid funding through 2027. You’ll join the Robotics/Vision cluster (±15 engineers), the team behind the core vision and robotics systems.

What you’ll do:

As a Team Lead Systems, you’ll have a very impactful role, leading the Robotics product team +/-10 FTE They are the team that responsible for the design, development of the actual hardware & Robot. You will translate overall system requirements into practical, detailed engineering work. You will enable your colleagues technically, make key architectural and design decisions, lead research and development efforts, and continuously improve current ways of working.

A central part of the job is troubleshooting complex system-level issues, ensuring the final solution is structurally correct, reliable and compliant. Your leadership ensures that the product meets certification requirements, passes audits, and performs consistently in real-life use.

Additionally, you will get HR responsibility. This includes, Hiring, performance reviews, mentoring & coaching.

Your profile:

  • 7+ years of experience as Senior Mechanical, Robotics, or Systems Engineer
  • 2+ years of team leadership within Medical, R&D, Robotics or Systems Engineering
  • Strong prototyping capabilities (Python, Arduino or equivalent)
  • Experience with structured testing, validation and reliability improvements
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
  • A BSc/MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics or Biomedical Engineering
  • Proven ability to own complex R&D lifecycles from requirements to validation

Compensation

A salary of €125.000, 8% holiday allowance, pension, 25 vacation days, hybrid working, full travel coverage, and visa/relocation support including the 30% ruling.
