More about the role

For our (HQ) offices and a warehouse in the Benelux we seek an experienced Real Estate Facilities & Project Manager who combines the long-term management of buildings and facility services with the short-term oversight of housing, relocation, and reinstatement projects. This role requires a blend of strategic, operational, and project management skills to ensure that we continue to offer great places to work to our employees that reflect our company ambitions and best support our dynamic business processes. You act as a site manager for our (HQ) offices in the Netherlands, steering the delivery and performance of facility provision through our external IFM partner, and work closely with our local facility coordinators at the other locations.

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Real Estate Facilities and Project Manager in our Eindhoven office at High Tech Campus with Signify.

Key responsibilities include:

• Site management: Implementing and enforcing processes for primary facility and other activities essential for daily site operations at Signify offices, in cooperation with internal business partners such as EHS, HR, IT and Sustainability.
• Facilities management: Overseeing daily facility operations, ensuring optimal functioning of all technical installations and building services. Managing external FM Integrator and other service providers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual standards. Monitoring maintenance activities, energy performance, and operational budgets. Driving contracting of service contracts (tender process).
• Space management: Analyzing space utilization data, developing space plans, and implementing solutions to ensure the physical environment supports the needs and goals of Signify and its employees.
• Project management: Supervising renovations, fit out, building reinstatement, demolition and improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams and external contractors.
• Stakeholder management: Coordinating with internal stakeholders, external vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and project execution.
• Budget and financial management: Managing both the operational and project-specific budgets, including capital project planning.
• Compliance and safety: Ensuring compliance with HSE/Security standards and promote a safe and efficient workplace environment.

More about you

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or real estate discipline (or equivalent through experience).
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role as Facility-, Asset or Property Manager, ideally in a corporate environment.
• You have a natural talent for communicating with people at all levels in- and outside the Signify organization and getting them on board with your ideas.
• You have a genuine interest in people and want to offer your colleagues a great place to work.
• You are experienced in project & change management and delivering workplace solutions.
• You combine strategic insights with strong analytical skills, understand the financial aspects of FM operations and capital projects.
• You are familiar with managing outsourced facility service delivery and vendor management.
• You are strong in problem-solving thinking and posses a ‘can do’ attitude.
• You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
