Quooker continues to grow and as our Business Controller you will play an important advisory role in this development. This is a new position, within our expanding Finance department, giving you significant opportunity to help shape and further develop the Business Control function. You will operate in an international context, with responsibilities touching all Quooker entities worldwide.

This is a broad and dynamic role in which you will have plenty of room to bring structure, professionalize reporting and elevate our management information to a higher level. You will not only contribute to the development of dashboards and financial analyses, but also to the positioning of Business Control as a strategic sparring partner within the organization.

In this role, you prepare financial analyses and reports that support management in strategic decision-making. You analyze results against budget, identify variances and provide clear and relevant explanations. You also conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities for efficiencies and savings. In addition, you contribute to the development of periodic management reports and dashboards and you play a key role in preparing, coordinating and challenging the annual budgets and interim forecasts. Given the international scope, you ensure consistency, comparability and insight across all Quooker entities.

You support investment proposals by performing financial analyses, gathering the necessary data and preparing documentation. You monitor approved investments and report transparently on their progress to management.

To be successful in this position, you work closely with various local departments such as production, logistics, marketing and sales. But you will also collaborate with stakeholders across different countries and cultures, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment. Taking initiative, communicating clearly and presenting yourself in a natural and convincing way across the organization are essential to thriving in this role.

About your team

The Finance & Control department is responsible for the complete financial administration of all (international) Quooker branches. The current team consists of 15 employees in different roles.

Job requirements

  • Completed HBO/WO degree in Finance, Business Economics or another relevant financial field.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role
  • Available for a minimum of 32 hours per week
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Dutch is considered an advantage
  • You are living in the Netherlands and work at Headquarters in Ridderkerk (and 20% from home)
