Salary: to €90k bruto base plus 38 days' holiday, bonus, holiday pay, pension etc

They are building a single, universal system for product identification. Being neutral and not-for-profit, they collaborate with companies, organizations, and governments in the Netherlands and worldwide. They bring together stakeholders from various sectors to share product and location data reliably and efficiently. This contributes to a future-proof supply chain.

Following an internal promotion, there is an immediate requirement for a highly experienced Sector Lead Agri & Food.

What you’ll do

As Sector Lead Food & Agri, you become the driving force behind a smarter, safer, and fully connected Farm-to-Fork chain in the Netherlands.

Your mission: boost trust, traceability, and transparency across the entire ecosystem—so every tomato, potato, seed, and shipment can be traced, shared, and trusted by everyone involved.

You’ll:

• Shape a bold Food & Agri strategy, based on the biggest needs and trends—from supply chain transparency to sustainability, digitalisation, and product data quality
• Lead the adoption of company standards across growers, processors, distributors, retailers, AgriTech partners, certifiers, and government bodies
• Build an engaged network of strategic partners who believe in a unified, traceable, data-driven food chain
• Spark innovation by organising roundtables, customer sessions, and pilots that tackle real sector challenges like recalls, farm data exchange, and digital product passports
• Work closely with the company’s international network to influence global standards and ensure the Dutch voice is heard
• Translate international developments into practical, usable solutions for the Dutch Farm-to-Fork chain
• Collaborate with internal teams across Products, Technology, Marketing, Communications, and Account Management to bring your strategy to life

You’re the sector’s connective tissue—turning complex conversations into shared agreements, and shared agreements into real-world impact.

What you bring

• 5-10 years’ leading digital transformation in the Food & Agri supply chain
• HBO/WO degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Logistics or similar
• Strong cross-chain stakeholder management — from growers to retailers to regulators
• A strategic, customer-focused mindset: you spot sector trends and turn them into real, scalable solutions
• Proactive, structured, a natural connector, and great at explaining complex topics in a clear way
• Fluency in Dutch and English
