As the manager for Physical Security, you are responsible for a team of security professionals across ASML to drive security and verify the performance of controls across ASML.
Role and responsibilities
As the Senior Manager Physical Security/Identity, you drive the strategy and implementation of sophisticated physical security measures that protect the organization's people, facilities, and assets beyond the capabilities of frontline teams, shaping, implementing and maintaining the 2LoR operating model. You will bring physical security to the next level for ASML, linking closely with identity and access management. As the authoritative escalation point for complex security challenges, this position ensures comprehensive physical security through specialized expertise, strategic risk assessment, and continuous improvement of physical security systems.
You will translate physical security threats into business risks and drive organizational resilience and protective measures, by connecting operational security activities with strategic leadership from a second line front. In this position, you ensure ASML maintains a resilient physical security posture through specialized expertise, strategic problem-solving, and continuous security enhancement by overseeing physical security activities with domain leadership.
In this role you will safeguard the access and control of ASML physical sites and effective security controls, driving secure development practices, and coordinating responses to physical security handling complex physical security issues escalated from frontline operations and implements advanced protective measures to secure the organization's physical environment. You will set up and update the physical security policy framework and the related controls /control objectives, implement these together with the user organization and link it seamlessly into the existing ASML security control framework.
