2. The role

As IT Manager, you are DeltaQuad's first and central IT professional. You combine hands-on system administration with shaping a clear IT vision. You work closely with colleagues across all teams: engineering, production, sales, and operations and have the autonomy to implement improvements that elevate our IT landscape.

You are responsible for maintaining a stable, secure, and well-structured IT environment, taking ownership of both operational work and strategic direction.

3. Key tasks and responsibilities

Operational & hands-on:

• Manage account and access control, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Oversee our IT infrastructure (primarily Windows environments).
• Handle hardware lifecycle management: workstations, peripherals, phones, tablets and network components.
• Administer and optimize Google Workspace and cloud tools (including HubSpot, ClickUp).
• Coordinate specialised IT activities requiring external expertise.
• Support colleagues with day-to-day IT requests and incident handling.

Strategic & project-based:

• Develop and implement IT processes, standards, and policies.
• Maintain and strengthen our cybersecurity setup.
• Monitor IT security and implement improvements where needed.
• Support current and future ISO certifications from an IT perspective.
• Prepare and guide major implementations, such as a new ERP system.
• Advise on the ideal balance between internal IT capacity and external support.

4. What you bring

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience, ideally within a growing, technical, or production-focused environment.
• Strong experience with Windows environments, cloud management, and hands-on system administration.
• Affinity with cybersecurity and solid knowledge of IT security principles.
• Experience with Linux and programming is a plus.
• Experience or affinity with ISO-driven environments is a plus.
• Proactive, structured, and independent way of working; you think ahead and bring clarity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Strong command of both Dutch and English.
