Join Medtronic's Diabetes Operating Unit as a Senior HR Generalist and HR Business Partner. You'll play a key role in supporting our diabetes business teams, enhancing employee experience, and accelerating business success.

This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. Our HR team will play a pivotal role in the journey to become a standalone company. This position will be based in Heerlen within the MiniMed organization and will report to a sub-regional HR Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support to the designated employee population, ensuring adherence to HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Build trusted partnerships with leaders, coaching them on employee lifecycle matters and supporting annual performance cycles with consistent goal setting and evaluations
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, and hiring managers to attract, retain, and develop talent
  • Drive organizational development initiatives, strengthen business capabilities, and lead change management efforts, including communication and transition planning
  • Advise on compensation planning for market competitiveness and equity
  • Champion employee experience, engagement, and positive culture initiatives
  • Use HR analytics to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years progressive HR experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a multinational enterprise
  • Proven record of partnering with business leaders
  • Strong data analysis and decision-making skills
  • Excellent coaching, consulting, and influencing abilities

Preferred

  • Master's, MBA, or related business degree
  • Experience in medical device, technology, healthcare, or consumer products
  • Strong understanding of talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Proficiency with HRIS software (Workday)
