Junior Transaction Monitoring Analyst (Working Student)


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented working student to join our Transaction Monitoring department at our Amsterdam headquarters. As a Junior Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will play a crucial role in verifying the daily flow of incoming and outgoing transactions across all branches. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with TM professionals across various branches of LYNX, including The Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Germany. You will be stationed in the Amsterdam office, directly contributing to the TM department and reporting to the Team Lead of the international Transaction Monitoring team, who is also based in Amsterdam.

You will focus on:

  • Process international incoming and outgoing transactions by analyzing financial data.
  • Conduct plausibility checks on transactions.
  • Utilize public sources to gather information about customers and assess transaction plausibility.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, as well as the Compliance and Customer Service departments.
  • Ensure all processes adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Are you the one we're looking for?

  • You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Criminology, Finance, or a related field.
  • You possess strong investigative skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • You are adept at following instructions, understanding complex situations, and making informed judgments.
  • You are an eager learner, committed to staying informed about your field and proactive in seeking knowledge and asking questions for your personal and professional development.
