Overview

As a Sales Engineer for our fire‑alarm installations, you are the key contact for customers in our service department. With technical expertise and a customer‑focused approach you manage the entire quotation process, turning customer requests into suitable solutions while keeping our business objectives in view. Whether it’s a small adjustment or a complete overhaul, you ensure that our customers’ needs are met, contributing to fire safety and the quality of our fire‑alarm systems across the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft electrical schematics in AutoCAD or E‑plan.
• Perform calculations and prepare quotes for a variety of requests.
• Translate customer needs into concrete solutions.
• Advise customers on suitable fire‑safety solutions.
• Organise site measurements for inventory of required solutions.
• Collaborate with project technicians and the field team on material lists.

About the Team

You will work within a project team consisting of:

• 1 department manager
• 1 team leader
• 3 project technicians
• 1 engineer (draughtsman)
• 1 sales engineer

Qualifications

• MBO4 or HBO working and thinking level, oriented towards Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Project design expertise in BMI/OAI is an advantage (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Strong communication skills.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Combines commercial and technical abilities.
• Proactive and eager to learn.
• Comfortable with standard Office programs.
