About Our Client
Our client is a major organization in the Aviation sector who is specialized in producing high‑end aircraft. Their HQ is in the south of Amsterdam. This role is for 6 to 12 months initially and could become a permanent role.
Job Description
- Oversee end‑to‑end EMEA payroll cycles to ensure accuracy and timely completion; provide hands‑on support or review for the France payroll when needed.
- Handle pre‑payroll checks, data cleanup, and exception management to reduce errors and rework.
- Reconcile payroll results, investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures across supported countries.
- Collaborate with regional and global payroll providers (CloudPay, TCS, local Polish/French vendors) and internal system owners (Workday, ServiceNow) on integrations, configurations, and incident resolution.
- Maintain and update detailed country‑specific payroll procedures and transaction‑level process documentation.
- Support testing and rollout of payroll system updates, patches, and enhancements; verify outcomes and record findings.
- Generate routine payroll reports and assist with KPI monitoring; elevate trends, country risks, and compliance concerns when needed.
- Assist in onboarding and training vendor payroll teams (e.g., TCS) and serve as a subject‑matter contact for payroll inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to local payroll laws, tax requirements, and statutory reporting obligations for assigned countries.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, recommend automation opportunities, and strengthen controls for multi‑country payroll operations.
Part of your daily responsibilities will involve process optimization and the transition to a new software tool.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business or related field preferred
- 5-8 years hands‑on payroll experience with demonstrated experience supporting EMEA payrolls
- Practical experience with at least one global payroll platform and vendor‑managed payroll environments
- Prior exposure to payroll reconciliations, statutory compliance and payroll reporting for other European countries
- English fluency, Dutch is a plus
- 40 hours availability
- Per immediately - start in March already!
