As a Machine Operator Metal, you will work independently in a modern metal production environment where quality, precision, and craftsmanship are key. This is not a standard "push the start button" operator job. As a Machine Operator Metal, you are fully responsible for your machine, the production process, and the final result.
Your responsibilities as a Machine Operator Metal include:

• Operating, setting up, and adjusting press machines
• Independently running metalworking machines
• Reading and applying technical drawings
• Understanding, measuring, and monitoring tolerances
• Performing continuous quality checks during production
• Adjusting machines in case of deviations
• Solving minor technical malfunctions

This Machine Operator Metal position offers a high level of variation. It is not repetitive serial production work, which means every day is different. In addition to operating your machine, you will prepare materials using a forklift and transport finished parts to the warehouse. You will work in a 2-shift system from Monday to Friday:

• 06:00-14:35
• 14:00-23:00
• Friday afternoon: 14:00-20:35

Wat vragen wij?

For this Machine Operator Metal role, we are looking for someone who:

• Has strong technical insight and understands machines and tolerances
• Can read and immediately apply technical drawings
• Has experience as a press operator (preferred)
• Holds a Forklift Certificate and Safe Lifting Certificate, or is willing to obtain them free of charge through us
• Speaks good English (required for safety and work processes)
• Lives in Vaassen or nearby
