Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker – Build Safe Aviation

Are you a skilled metalworker ready for a new challenge in the aviation industry? As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker, you will inspect, repair, and restore aircraft structures, ensuring they return to service safely and in top condition. You’ll work with high-quality materials in a precision-driven environment where safety and craftsmanship are key. Experience in aviation is a plus, but not required. Backgrounds in automotive body repair, metal fabrication, or structural metalwork are welcome. We value technical skill and the motivation to learn.

What will you do as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker?

• Assess damage to aircraft components and determine the required repairs;
• Perform repair and maintenance work in accordance with approved repair procedures and guidelines;
• Replace damaged sheet metal parts and repair damage to aluminum or other aircraft materials using drilling, reaming, countersinking, spot facing, light milling, grinding, sawing, and deburring techniques;
• Use sheet metal tools and small machinery to adjust, fit, or restore components;
• Work in compliance with strict safety and quality regulations to ensure aircraft are returned to optimal condition;
• Collaborate within a professional, international team on a variety of projects

What do you bring as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker?

• A completed MBO-level qualification in metalworking or a comparable technical education;
• Proven experience as a sheet metal worker (aluminum) or metal fabricator (aviation experience is a plus, but not required);
• Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail;
• The ability to work accurately according to specifications and technical drawings;
• Good command of the English language, as it is often the working language within projects;
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct (or willingness to obtain one)

What do you receive as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker?

• A gross monthly salary between €2,700 and €3,200, depending on your knowledge and experience;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (maximum 30 km one way);
• 8% holiday allowance;
